इंजिनीयर्स कप क्रिकेट के प्रथम मैच मे मेजबान मालवीय नेशनल इंस्टिट्यूट को विद्युत निगम ने परास्त किया
मालवीय नेशनल इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ़ टेक्नोलॉजी जयपुर के तत्वावधान मे लगातार बारहवी बार आयोजित जा रही सिमित ओवर २०-२० प्रतियोगिता का आज क्रिकेट मैदान पैर माननीय कार्यवाहक निदेशक महोदय प्रोफ़ेसर आर.ए.गुप्ता के करकमलों के द्वारा किया गया.समारोह की अद्याक्ष्ता प्रोफ़ेसर सुधीर कुमार ,अधिष्ठाता छात्र मामलात द्वारा की गई ।
आज खेले गए मैच मे विधूय निगम ने टोस जीत कर पहले खेलने का फ़ैसला किया और २० ओवर मे १६४ रन बनाये । इसमे रहमान खान ने शानदार अर्ध शतक ६१ रन बनाये .जीतेन्द्र सिंह ने 33और आमिर खान ने १९ रन का योगदान दिया। संजू शर्मा ने ३० रन पैर दो विक्केट लिया, गिरधारी सिंह ३६/१,और अरविन्द भट्ट ने १२/१ विकेट लिया ।
जबाबी परी मे ऍम अन आई ने तूफानी शरुआत की और ३.२ ओवर मे ३९ रन जोड़ डाले , इसमे अरविन्द भट्ट ने १६ गेंद पैर २५ रन ठोके जिसमे एक सिक्स और चार चोके शामिल थे , अरविन्द भट्ट के रन आउट होने के पश्चात् शेर सिंह ३४ और स्नाजू शर्मा ३५ ने प्रयास किया मगर वोह अपनी हार नही टाळ सके
रहमान खान १७ पैर दो, शंकर सिंह १९पैर दो, और अजित सक्सेना ने किफायती गेंदबाजी १८ पैर एक कर अपनी टीम को जीत दिलाई ।
मैच मे निर्णायक की धूमिका नेशनल अंपायर ओम् शर्मा और राज्य पेनल अंपायर राजकुमार विनायक ने की । संगणकश्री राजेश थे।
प्रतियोगिता का अगला मैच २८/०२/२००९ को खेला जाएगा,इस दिन दो मैच खेले जांयेंगे

इन्जिनीर्स कप क्रिकेट प्रतियोगिता मशहूर छायाकार श्री महेश स्वामी की नज़र से
मशहूर छायाकार श्री महेश स्वामी की नज़र से इंजीनियर्स कप क्रिकेट प्रतियोगिता का नज़ारा अदभुत होता है। इस प्रतियोगिता के महेश प्रायोजक भी है, उन्होंने अपने पितामह (दादाजी) स्वर्गीय श्री ग्यानीराम जी मास्टर की स्मृति मे आयोजक क्रिकेट टीम को चार पुरस्कार भी प्रायोजित किए है,साथ ही साथ आप इसके आधरभूत सदस्य है जिनके अमूल्य सहयोग से यह प्रतियोगिता आज बारह साल से निर्विघन चल रही है.प्रतियोगिता मे आज तक उनके द्वारा सैकडो फोटो खींचे गए है, पर आज तक उन्होंने इसके उचित दाम नही लिए है,जो दे दिया उन्होंने ले लिया,यह उनका इस खेल के प्रति समर्पण ही है, हम समस्त आयोजन मंडल और विशेष कर अरविन्द भट्ट आयोजन सचिव उनकी कला और खेल भावना का सम्मान कर स्वयं को सम्मानित महसूस करते है.

बारहवी इन्जिनीर्स कप क्रिकेट प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन २५फरवरी २००९ से
बारहवी इन्जिनीर्स कप क्रिकेट प्रतियोगिता २००९ का आयोजन आगमी २५ फरवरी २००९ से मालवीय राष्ट्रीय प्रोद्योगिकीय संसथान जयपुर और मालवीय शेत्रीय अभियांत्रिकी महाविध्यालय क्रिकेट क्लब के तत्वावधान मे किया जा रहा है। यह प्रतियोगिता लगातार बारहवी बार आयोजित की जा रही है। बीस -बीस ओवर की सीमित ओवर प्रतियोगिता आईसीसी और बीसीसीआई के नियमानुसार आयोजित की जाती है।
इस प्रतियोगिता मे प्रविष्ठी की अन्तिम तारीख १८ फरवरी २००९ है, आप अपनी प्रविष्ठी आयोजन सचिव श्री अरविन्द भट्ट को कार्यालय समय मे संसथान के स्त्रुक्टुरल इन्जिनीरिंग विभाग मे प्रदान कर सकते है.अन्तिम तारीख के पश्च्यात प्राप्त होने वाली प्रविष्टियों परविचार करना सम्भव नही होगा.यह प्रतियोगिता सरकारी कर्मचारियों , केन्द्र सरकार के कर्मचारी, बोर्ड , निगम, सवायात्शाशी संसथान के कर्मचारी, विश्विधायालय और उन बैंक के कर्मचारियों के लिए है जहा खेल कोटा और रणजी खिलाडी नही खेल रहे है।

RULES AND REGULATION
1. The tournament shall be called 12th Engineers cup Cricket Tournament(T-20) 2009
League cum knock out invitational cricket Tournament (Twenty –Twenty formats)
2. It shall be interdepartmental Invitational tournament. The Department team means a team of State/Central Government Department, Corporations, Board Bank and Semi Government Department and the Autonomous Bodies.
3. Each Team shall consist of 14 players and a team manager.
4. Every player of the participating team must be regular employee of the respective organization(in regular pay scale as a permanent employee)
5. The list of players (14 numbers dully verified and certified by the competent authority should accompany the entry fees.
6. The entry fees is Rupees 4000/-(Rupees four thousand) only. It shall be deposited through the demand Draft/cash/cheque/in favor of ORGANISING SECRETARY, ENGINEERS CUP CRICKET TOURNAMENT, MNIT, JAIPUR.
7. All matches shall be played 20 overs each side in the tournament.
8. To represent a team at least seven members of the team should report at the ground.
9. Two matches shall be played in a day. The First match will be start at 8.30 Am sharp (reporting time will be 8.00AM).Second Match will be start at 11.45 sharp (reporting time will be 11.00AM).the time is adjustable due to unavailability of ground/mating, raining, fog, dim light or any other natural or authentic reasons.
10. The tournament shall be played on the basis of the ICC 20-20 Cricket rules .and some rules will be followed made by the organizing body for the tournament too.
11. On no ball one run penalty will be awarded and the batsman will be allowed the next ball for the free hit. On a free hit ball bats man can be out only by run out.
12. In 20 overs match first 8 overs of inning shall be power play(only two fielders allowed out side the 30 yard circle)
13. After fall of the wicket the next batsman must be in the position to take guard in two minutes.
14. No match shall be played less than 20 overs.(this rule is for entire stage of the tournament like league, quarter, semi or final too)
15. A match which is abandoned without a ball being bowled shall not be replayed and one point will be awarded to the both teams in league stage and in the knock out stage toss will be made for the result.
16. In a rain or bed whether affected match minimum 10 overs must be bowled for the team batting second. For the result average will count where match stop in team batting second (incomplete over will be ignore)
17. No protest will against umpires decision shall be entertained.
18. If there is a protest, it should be sent in writing to the organizing committee/technical committee along with the protest fee Rs. 8000/-(Rupees Eight thousand) only which in one hour of the match finished. The protest fee shall not be refund except when it is either withdrawn before the consideration the protest is upheld.
19. In case if there is a dispute or any technical problem create than the organizing committee have reserve all rights to solve the problem accordingly and decision of the committee is final and binding upon all.
20. Misbehave by the any team /players/ persons with the organizer/umpires/any official appoints will not be allowed in result such players will be debarred from the tournament immediately.

ACHIVEMENTS OF MNIT CRICKET TEAM
The MNIT Cricket team has been active in inter-institution tournament in Jaipur for the last twelve years. The Composition of the team has always been changing as faculty members engaged themselves in further research or development activities, were not able to devote time to the cause of cricket. In the past 3-4 years the team has experienced a fair amount of stability and participation of the young faculty and staff members. The following have been the achievements of the MNIT Cricket Team.

12th Engineers Cup Cricket Tournament from February 12, 2009
Malaviya National Institute of Technology MNIT Jaipur is organizing its most awaited and prestigious cricket tournament 12th ENGINEERS CUP CRICKET TOURNAMENT (T-20) 2009 for the employees, from 12th February 2009 here at institute cricket Ground. This is 12th consecutive tournament for employees. The Last Date of the entry in this tournament is 8th February 2009.Entry can be send to the organizing secretary Arvind Bhatt on office address MNIT (mobile 93134510266).
The employees of Central Government, State Government, Board, and corporation, other autonomous bodies and Banks who have no sports quota players or Ranji players (current or past) can take part in this tournament. The entry forms can be collected from Arvind Bhatt, at MNIT. Entry will be given to the teams only on first cum first serve basis. The right to give the entry to the teams is reserved; the organizers are not bound to give the entry to any team beyond the invitation and choice of organizer.
This tournament is only Twenty-Twenty limited overs cricket tournament in the state played under the full rules of ICC and board of cricket control India for the employees.
